What have we done so far?

Based on the previous Beta Presentations report, we've made a number of improvements and changes to the game over the week. For example, the bug where the player became invisible etc. We have also improved some features to make the game go smoother. These include collision, charge attack and generator. In terms of levels, we completed three iterations of levels, 4.1, 4.2, and 4.3. In 4.3, we made some very significant changes to the levels. Based on the Beta Presentations report, we learned that the player experience in some parts of the levels was not very good, and our team members discussed and made changes to these levels.

What are our next steps?

Next week we'll have the final presentation at UofT, so for the next few days we're going to be focusing on implementing a complete playable build that's as good as it can be compared to our previous releases. Our programmers, artists, and designers know exactly what we need to do next. This includes bug fixes, animations, and tutorial level modifications. We're confident that we'll be able to accomplish as much as we'd hoped in the next few days.

What are important discoveries we’ve made along the way?

The animation has been more difficult to produce than expected. While there was no pressure on us to finish on time, the difficulty of the animation gave us some challenges. Bugs fixes have been progressing. However, with the amount of testing we've done so far, there may be a few more bugs that we don't know about yet. Some of the bugs mentioned in the feedback we've gathered this week were not mentioned in previous tests. This is partly a reflection of the importance of testing in the making of the game, and the massive demand for the number of tests.
